About Me

Hi there! I’m Tiffany, a stay at home mom who lives in Southern Ontario with her husband, son, dog, and broken-tailed cat. Two months into my son’s Kindergarten career, we pulled him out to homeschool. This blog is my coping mechanism and is cheaper and way more fun than therapy. Plus, enough people started telling me that I should have a blog and I guess I actually listened for once. Crazy. I guess it happens sometimes.

My husband and I are high school sweethearts. ADORABLE, right? He is my support. He is my sunshine. And he keeps my feet on the ground when I start to drift away. He’s even brave enough to eat the food that I make. That is true love and trust, I tell ya!

Together we made this little scientist. I don’t know how we did it folks. We are pretty damn lucky. He’s sweet, thoughtful, hilarious and really freaking smart. Like, scary smart. People like to ask me what program I used. If I figure out the magic recipe I’ll let you know, but for now I’m just going to say books, love, luck, and a whole lot of fun.

Then there’s me. I love going for walks, knitting with wool, reading books with happy endings, and drinking tea and wine. As you can see, I generally have one of my kids hanging off of me. I have the weirdest resume: from magician’s assistant to dance teacher, actress to stilt walker, I’ve done some crazy things. When I grow up, I want to be a pioneer. I want a log cabin, a flock of sheep, and trees for days. I will even wear a bonnet and petticoats, IDGAF. My husband says we have to contribute to society or something, so in the mean time I’ll be here, giving him pouty faces whenever we see the remnants of a crumbling farm house.

I am so lucky to have a community of supportive friends and family who encouraged me to share our journey. We are just one story to add to the narrative out there, but why not add a little chaos to the pot? Thank you for stopping by!
